032 (rim thickness) blade supplied be used with this attachment. Thicker blades do not cut well with water as a coolant. Thinner blades need a higher RPM to "stiffen" them, and are more hazardous to use. The TSB-107 Glass Blade listed below is 8" x .050 x 1" arbor but specially designed for cutting glass. EASY TO INSTALL AND USE: The Genie trim saw attachment is easy to install; requires no tools. Simply remove the three Nova wheels on the right hand side of the machine. Place the saw pan under the shaft. Mount the saw blade on the adapter and spin it onto the right hand shaft. Slip the saw table and hood into place, fill the pan with five pints of water, and you are ready to go. CLEAN TO USE: Since the saw uses water as a coolant, there is no oily mess or dangerous fumes. You can use the trim saw wherever you use your Genie. |
